Man and Wolf are omnivores, intended to eat a combination of animal-based protein, as well as some vegetables, fruits and grains. Sheep (as well as other herbivores) are meant to eat vegetable foods exclusively. Herbivores have digestive systems specifically designed to get the nutrients out of vegetable foods.

There is so little nutritional value to these vegetable foods, that herbivores eat constantly in order to get what they need from these foods. Notice almost every function of digestion is opposite or entirely different from the Man and Wolf. Man does NOT have a system capable of accessing these vegetable nutrients. No matter how much we'd like to think we do, the ability is simply not there!
