The ideal way to get your EFAs is NOT with a supplement based on fish oil! Fish oil supplements suffer from 3 problems: 1) Fish oil can't be guaranteed for purity. Fish are raised in impure waters and the very process used to "clean" the oil for packaging damages it. 2) Fish oil is all omega 3. Your body needs the right balance of omega 3 and omega 6 EFAs or the delicate balance will be thrown off. 3) Fish oil is all derivative EFAs. Your body uses the parent EFAs as well as breaking down the parent into the derivatives it needs. When you only get the derivatives they aren't used properly by your body.

EFAs derived from organically grown, cold pressed seeds like Borage, Safflower, Sunflower and Flax are the highest quality you can get. Be sure the ratio of EFAs is in the range or 1:1 - 1-2 3/6 parent oils with NO derivatives.

Minerals:
Mineral supplements should always be Truly Chelated. True Chelation means they're tied to amino acids, they way they would be if they were in your food. If you take minerals without the amino acids bound to them, they won't get fully utilized and you'll be wasting money and not providing the nutrition for your body that it needs. Minerals are often missing in modern soil due to modern growing methods and artificial fertilizers, while vitamins are still available in our foods. If you take the proper, truly chelated minerals, you don't need to take vitamins. You'll get the vitamins you need from the food you eat. Minerals work with the vitamins in your food to make your important biological processes work up to a million times more efficiently.

Vitamin C:
We all know this is an important vitamin. What we haven't been told is that vitamin C is contained in meats and proteins like eggs, cheese, and steak! Eskimos live well eating virtually no fruits and vegetables during their long winters. Also, the Mongols, the fiercest warriors that ever lived, ate no fruits, vegetables, or grains. They only ate meat and natural fats. You don't need to consume lots of fruits and vegetables to get vitamin C.

Vitamin B 12 & B complex:
These essential vitamins are contained in meats and animal-based protein. All strict vegetarians and vegan's suffer from a vitamin B12 deficiency. There is no need for supplementation if you eat meat! If you take a supplement, there is no guarantee your body can make use of it as efficiently as it would by getting it naturally from meat.

Niacin:
Another B vitamin that is naturally found in meat.

Folic Acid:
This is a vitamin only used in extremely small, micro nutrient quantities (millionths of a gram) by the body. That means only an extremely small amount is required. It occurs in vegetables and grains, and to a lesser extent in meats. Therefore, over the past 20 years, with so many Americans eating mainly a carbohydrate diet, no one should have a deficiency. Something is wrong when they claim that lack of this micro nutrient is a significant issue. You have much more important nutritional issues to address than folic acid.

The concentrate is produced through a unique patent pending process [BION], which permanently bonds one atom of silver with a multitude of oxygen atoms . During the process, silver water is put into a "catalytic reactor" that strips a significant amount of the hydrogen away from the silver water. This leaves the remaining oxygen atoms in extremely high demand for electrons. The oxygen, seeking out the electrons that it requires, locks on to the silver atom and forms a covalent bond resulting in a silver atom surrounded by an immense cloud of oxygen atoms. This simple fact is what makes the product so effective in eliminating parasitic germs, and what makes all other colloidal or "nano" silver water products obsolete.

"Greens" type of drink:
Would you ever eat grass? Of course not. It tastes awful and you can't digest it like a cow, which needs 4 stomachs to do so. Then what would lead you to think that grass "juice" or ground up grass is good for you? Because we can't digest them, they actually force the body to incur a "toxic shock" similar to someone pointing a gun to your head and claiming that you’ve got more energy from it! It's the same effect with these green drinks. So don't be fooled. The toxic reaction is the reason for the so-called "high" followed by a corresponding "low" resulting from your body exhausting itself to get rid of it. There are much better ways to develop energy, naturally.

Wheat Grass:
This is just another grass drink as stated above. Regardless of what they may tell you in the health store, drinking this awful tasting substance promotes a toxic reaction and always gives you a “high” then a long lasting "low" after drinking it. Nothing beneficial should ever cause you to be tired afterwards. Don't believe that you need to take more of it to get the "high" again. This is simply deceptive marketing.

Green Algae:
Algae grows in sewage. It's disgusting! No animal eats this stuff except a very special breed of algae-eating fish. It is toxic to the human body the same as the grass drinks above. It doesn’t contain enough of anything in adequate amounts to be beneficial to a human being, even if it wasn't hazardous to consume.

Spirolina:
This is just another "species" of algae. Don't go near it.

Noni Juice:
Another of the so-called "miracle" drinks. This is simply a fruit juice. You can do much better with an herbal tea termed Essiac®.

Juice Plus type of product (fruits and veggies packed into a capsule):
Would you ever eat 10 pounds of fruit and vegetables in a single day? No. There is nothing beneficial to taking ground up fruits and vegetables in a capsule form. For the very reasons already mentioned, that you get much more benefit eating the animal that ate the plant, rather than overloading on ground-up, processed plants stuffed into capsule form. It may sound good, but you can do much better.

Fish Oil:
The press is loaded with news about the toxins in fish oil. Even worse is the fact that fish oil is 100% omega 3 derivatives, which is not what the body wants or needs. Regardless of what you may read, it is actually very harmful. You can do substantially better with organically raised seed-based oils containing the proper balance of “parent” omega 6 and “parent” omega 3. Read "The Scientific Basis of the Optimal Omega 6/3 Ratio."

Powdered Protein Drinks:
The only reason for these drinks is because people were scared of the fat in real meat, and are led to believe that a powdered protein drink gives you more protein than real meat (ridiculous!). Natural fat is very beneficial. Furthermore, by consuming liquid drinks you are teaching your digestive system to be very lazy and this could put you in serious trouble later in life. There is no need at all for "pre-digested" protein. Lastly, there is not enough protein in these drinks to be significant. The form that it is in is highly questionable as to its metabolic efficiency. Eat the steaks, eggs, cheese, nuts, and lunch meats. Don't ever consume a "powdered or liquid" meal in their place.

Low Carb Diet Vitamins:
This is just another attempt to create a new market because few people understand nutritional science. Carbs offer very little in terms of nutrition that you don't get from protein and natural fats. The scientific fact is you don't need these vitamins. Your nutritional needs are much better met by eating low-carb than they ever were on a high-carb/low-protein/low-fat/low-calorie diet.

Cortisol:
This is a hormone. Big deal. Do you think that there was no stress for the past 50 years and that stress is something new? That is absurd. This is utter nonsense and when you read their advertisements, they never give you the actual amount of the weight loss. Never forget that 10 times nothing is still, nothing! You can do much better in your search for nutritional products that really work.

Coral Calcium:
Calcium is calcium. There is nothing "special" about this whatsoever. Don't believe the drama that it’s better because it comes from Okinawa. Calcium is UNNECESSARY anyway. No one in this country is “deficient” as we are lead to believe. Again, this is deceptive marketing. There is a lot of calcium in our diet, and taking a supplement could lead to an overdose in your system. Also, calcium actually contributes to harder, more brittle bones -- it doesn't enter the bone matrix, which is the real issue. Certain coral calcium supplements claim to increase oxygen transfer in your cells. Wrong. This is only true from essential fatty acids (EFAs), not a calcium supplement. Also, there is no reason to attempt to make your body more “alkaline." Your blood pH stays within a mere 1/10th of a point (7.35-7.45) no matter what you eat, or what supplements you take. If your blood pH changed any more dramatically, you would die. Mother Nature won't let us vary it. Think about it: food is going into your stomach, which is full of acid!

Colloidal Silver:
Silver is unusable to the body and in large doses can be a real problem. There are many instances where the liquid has turned users skin slate gray, never to be able to have a normal skin pigment again. This product is used when you develop an infection, etc. It makes much more sense to have nutritional products that help the immune system fight off infection to begin with.

Multivitamin:
There is no measure of usability (termed bio availability) by the government. Just because "it's in there," doesn't mean it will be used. Meats and natural fats contain all the vitamins you need. HOWEVER, mineral deficiency is a different story. Many minerals are not in the soil in sufficient quantities for a human being. Therefore a truly-chelated mineral supplement is beneficial for most us.

Garlic to Naturally lower Cholesterol:
Garlic is great for food but don't count on it doing much else. Studies are very inconsistent. You can do much better. Soon I will have a report on cholesterol that will explain the scientific truth about the whole cholesterol fallacy.

Chelation Therapy:
This is a process whereby an attempt is made to "de-clog" arteries via intravenous solutions. The results have been inconsistent. A better method is to try to ensure that the arteries never clog in the 1st place. This can only happen via nutritional means.
